Thousands of job seekers across Kenya have received a boost after several government agencies announced a large-scale recruitment exercise aimed at filling hundreds of vacant positions.
The Ministry of Roads and Transport, the Social Health Authority (SHA), and the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) have collectively opened applications for approximately 260 positions in different professional and support categories.
Ministry of Roads and Transport Advertises 139 Positions
The State Department for Roads, under the Ministry of Roads and Transport, has announced the largest share of vacancies, offering 139 positions in various departments.
Among the available opportunities are:
- Senior Engineer Materials
- Senior Lecturer at the Kenya Institute of Highways and Building Technology (KIHBT)
- Principal Instructor
- Superintending Geologist
- Chief Physicist
- Engineering Technician positions
- Driver Instructor III
- Plant Operator Instructor III
The ministry is seeking qualified professionals to strengthen the country's infrastructure sector and improve service delivery.
Interested applicants are required to submit their applications through the Public Service Commission (PSC) online portal before June 30, 2026, at 5:00 PM.
Social Health Authority Opens 54 Vacancies
The Social Health Authority (SHA) has also launched a recruitment exercise to enhance administrative operations under the Social Health Insurance framework.
The authority is recruiting for:
- 47 Administration Officer I positions
- 7 Senior Assistant Office Administrator positions
According to SHA, the new hires are expected to boost institutional capacity and improve healthcare service delivery across the country.
Candidates must satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution and provide all the necessary clearance certificates, including those from relevant government agencies.
Applications for the positions will close on June 30, 2026.
EACC Announces 33 Employment Opportunities
The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) has advertised 33 vacancies across several professional and support departments.
Applicants are required to submit copies of their national identification cards, academic and professional certificates, curriculum vitae, and other supporting documents as specified in the respective job descriptions.
The commission has warned that canvassing will lead to automatic disqualification and noted that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
Applications for EACC jobs must be submitted before June 23, 2026, at 5:00 PM.
