Toxic Lyrikali and Buruklyn Boyz Rap Beef Explodes After Donholm Street Clash

The ongoing feud between Kenyan rapper Toxic Lyrikali and hip-hop duo Buruklyn Boyz took a dramatic turn this week when tensions spilled off social media and into the streets of Donholm.

What started as a lyrical rivalry has now drawn fans from rival neighbourhoods into heated confrontations, forcing police to step in amid chaotic scenes.

Clash in Donholm: When Music Feuds Get Physical

According to local reports, supporters connected to both Toxic and Buruklyn Boyz clashed in Donholm on Monday, February 16, in an incident that saw minor injuries reported and property damage recorded.

Police responded to the disturbances and took statements from those involved, though no arrests were made.

How the Rivalry Escalated

The beef ignited after Toxic fired shots at Buruklyn Boyz — composed of Mr Right and Ajay — leading to a flurry of diss tracks from both sides.

Buruklyn Boyz fired back with their own song “Stima”, taking aim at Toxic with hard-hitting bars and a confrontational music video.

Not to be outdone, Toxic retaliated with his own diss titled “Dumpsite,” in which he questioned the duo’s roots in Eastlands.

Their feud resonates on social platforms partially because the rappers hail from neighbouring estates — Toxic from Kayole and the Buruklyn crew from Buru Buru — adding a neighbourhood edge to their rivalry.

Toxic Calls for Calm, Focus on Music

In the aftermath, Toxic Lyrikali shared a message distancing himself from the street violence. He emphasised that any clashes were not ordered by him and urged rivals and fans alike to channel their energy back into music.

“We don’t support violence or property damage. Whatever went down on the streets was not something I commanded,” he wrote, adding that he would rather face his rivals in the studio, not on the streets.

Fan Reactions: Social Media Weighs In

Online, many fans echoed the call for peace, arguing that artistic beef should stay confined to tracks and punchlines rather than physical altercations. Supporters weighed in with humorous and pointed comments on social media about the intense feud.
